In English grammar, "who" and "that" are both relative pronouns used to introduce a subordinate clause. However, they have different functions and usage. "Who" is used when referring to people, whereas "that" is used for things or animals. For example, "the woman who helped me" and "the book that I read". In this online exercise, there are 15 sentences to practice the use of "who" and "that". Each sentence contains a blank space where the correct relative pronoun needs to be filled in. This exercise is a great way to improve your understanding and mastery of these two relative pronouns.
